Joseph’s Corner Inc and our related entities (referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Joseph’s Corner”) appreciate that privacy is very important. Joseph’s Corner in compliance with the Privacy Act (2000) has adopted this Privacy Policy. We recognise the right of people to keep their personal information private.

Whole of Joseph’s Corner Privacy Policy

All personal information collected by Joseph’s Corner will comply with the National Privacy Principles as detailed below and as amended from time to time:

Collection
Use and disclosure
Data quality
Data security
Openness
Access and correction
Identifiers
Anonymity
Transborder data flows
Sensitive Information
Second Generation Privacy Policies

Joseph’s Corner has adopted a “whole of organisation” privacy policy, understanding that the work of the various parts of Joseph’s Corner is broad ranging and the process to develop and implement an appropriate policy to address the specific needs of each part is complex and cumbersome. Elements of specific policy development (called Second Generation Policies) and implementation are thus delegated to those agencies or parts of Joseph’s Corner that have specific privacy considerations.

To ensure that Joseph’s Corner across its parts has privacy policies that are consistent with one another and reflective of Joseph’s Corner’s mission, any associated entity which develops a second-generation privacy policy, must have authorization by the Joseph’s Corner Board of Management and must appoint a Privacy Officer.

Any other part of Joseph’s Corner is required to submit their second generation policy to the Board of Management for review. Should a conflict between policies occur, the conflict will be adjudicated by the Board of Management. Changes to second generation Policies or associated documentation must be forwarded to the Board of Management after amendment.
